Jersey International Beach Rugby Tournament 2012

Beach rugby – a fast, enthralling version of the 15-aside game – comes to Jersey once again. A game played on a half-size beach pitch, which discounts line-outs and scrums but allows for tackles and which, of course, is played with an oval ball. The Jersey Rugby Association is organising a Beach Rugby tournament as a fun way of playing a bit of rugby in the Summer. A day of sport on the beach open to both men and women's teams. Teams consist of 6 - 10 players. Special Guest Matt Banahan (subject to International Duties). Free for spectators. Registration cost is £20 per player (includes beer & baguette in the afternoon, a souvenir t-shirt and a donation to Holidays 4 Heroes).
