Coffee Shop
The Coffee Shop is set in lovely surroundings near both hotel pools, the terrace and the gardens. It is open throughout the day and offers a casual alternative to the hotel Dining room. You will find a varied menu offering savoury and sweet snacks, light meals, alcoholic and soft drinks and teas and coffees.
Games Room
The games room consists of a pool table, arcade machines, air hockey and a large flat screen television. Perfect for the World Cup, with plenty of seating to relax or watch the kids play.
Granite Suite
The Hotel Metropole's newly refurbished Granite Suite with its stunning décor and ambience is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing evening drink with friends.
Lounge Bar
The Lounge Bar is the ideal place to meet with friends, enjoy a pre-dinner drink or simply spend time relaxing. The Bar is open 10am ‘til 2pm then again from 5.30pm until the last guest goes to bed and serves a wide selection of alcoholic and soft drinks, teas and coffees and snacks.
The Dining Room
Breakfast and Dinner are served in our bright and airy Dining Room. The menu is changed daily and those of you with special dietary needs will, of course, be catered for too – please let your head waiter know your requirements. Not forgetting the children, there is also a kids menu.
Swimming Pools
At the Hotel Metropole you will find both a heated indoor pool and an outdoor pool where you can exercise or simply laze around in the water. The little ones even have their own out-door paddling pool to splash about in.
Jacuzzi & Steam Room
After a swim or work out nothing helps you to unwind better than relaxing in the jacuzzi or the steam room, both adjacent to the indoor swimming pool.
The Gymnasium
For the health conscious we have a small but well equipped gymnasium which provides seven independent weight stations and three independent aerobic machines. Please Note: Users of the Metropole gym use these facilities at their own risk. Please check with your doctor if you are concerned about your health.
Sun Terrace & Garderns
You will find a superb sun-trap terrace surrounding our outdoor pool where you can relax with a cool drink or light meal from our coffee shop or simply soak up the sun. If you fancy something a bit different, you will find beautifully kept gardens around the hotel where you can relax and enjoy some peace and quiet.
The Arena Play Centre
One of the largest soft play areas in Europe is a fantastic experience for kids while the adults can relax and enjoy the light snacks of the Arena café. Located at Fort Regent it is only a short distance away from both our hotels and kids play free when a Mayfair or Metropole Hotel room key is shown.
